Storage
Ideal for the storage of wine is a dark, cool room with some humidity and a as much as possible constant temperature between 48 and 57°F. Warmth and light have a negative effect. Wine should not be stored near products which have a strong smell. If you have no cellar or another similar possibility, which solves this, you should choose an place, which is not subject to heavy temperature fluctuation. Warm places in the kitchen and lighted, airy places near the window are inadvisable.
Wine should be stored horizontally, in order that the cork stays wet and elastic.
Serving
You should always pay attention to the right temperature. Is a wine served to cold or to warm, it looses bouquet and taste. Red wine should be drunk at room temperature (64-72°F). White wine and Rotling should be placed in the fridge (48-54°F).
Choose clear glasses with a handle and possibly a tulip-shaped calix. A glass, which gets thinner to the top helps to hold the bouquet, and it eases to wave the wine in the glass. Fill the glass half full.
